FUTURE FILMMAKERS, 2021

Now in its sixteenth year, the BendFilm Future Filmmakers program encourages youth to share their ideas, voices and talents through film.The program was founded by Michelle Alvarado of Wahoo films and has grown to become a popular part of the festival each year. This video contest is open to Central Oregon students grades 5 through 12. Students create short films during the year and submit them, and this year, kids who attended the BendFilm Summer Filmmaking Camp made films that will be shown. An audience votes determines winners for each competition and who will receive the cash prize.
