"Ed Wood" (1994) | Cult of Tuck presents
In collaboration with Bend's premiere drag troupe The Cult of Tuck, Thursdays in June at Tin Pan will celebrate PRIDE month with a series of beloved queer movies. Each film will be a personal pick from one of the members of The Cult of Tuck. June 15th's film, Ed Wood (1994) is the personal pick of Cult of Tuck member Foxy LaHound!Foxy LaHound says: "Tim Burton's Ed Wood is the film that has made me feel the most seen by a movie. The film's loving and fictionalized portrayal of the infamous director reminds me that my queer gender expression and my love of cinema can be celebrated together, that my experience of queerness is valid, and that pursuing the things you love even when the world tells you it's 'bad' is always worth it."You can't follow this hipster on Instagram, but if you see Foxy out and about downtown, say hi!This screening and all following films in this series will be OUTDOOR screenings in the Alley.Synopsis:The mostly true story of the legendary "worst director of all time", who, with the help of his strange friends, filmed countless B-movies without ever becoming famous or successful.BUY TICKETS NOW FOR THE REST OF OUR UPCOMING PRIDE FILMS IN JUNE:Thur.
